Jurrian Oord BSc

Jurrian began his career in the maritime sector in 2008 and has since gained extensive experience in this field. After completing his maritime education in 2012, he sailed worldwide as a deck officer on various types of vessels and worked with a wide range of cargoes.

In 2018, he obtained his diploma as Maritime Officer, specialising as a deck officer, from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. He subsequently gained experience on board heavy-lift vessels and, during his last three years at sea, transported rolling cargo on a Ro-Ro vessel.

Over the course of more than ten years in the maritime sector, Jurrian has taken part in various shipyard and maintenance periods. This has enabled him to develop a solid technical foundation and become familiar with damages in the maritime industry.
